BELLEVUE – The Association of Washington State Azerbaijanis (AWSA) will host a Novruz celebration on March 22, bringing together members of the Azerbaijani community and local residents to mark the arrival of spring and the traditional new year.

Novruz, widely celebrated across Azerbaijan and other regions of the world, symbolizes renewal, prosperity, and the awakening of nature. The holiday is known for its rich traditions, festive gatherings, and distinctive seasonal foods.

The AWSA event will feature a festive program and a traditional holiday menu that includes hot dishes, salads, and classic Novruz sweets. Organizers say the celebration aims to share Azerbaijani culture and hospitality while creating an opportunity for the community to gather and celebrate together.
